Choose your own adventure. Enter 1 or 2 events ie 3 hours at night, have a sleep, then do the 3 (or 6) hours day OR the traditional 18-hour slog.
18 HR RIDERS - Start at 10pm Friday : Finish at 4pm Saturday.

6 HR RIDERS - Start at 10am Saturday : Finish at 4pm Saturday.

3 HR RIDERS - Start at 10pm Friday : Finish at 1am Saturday
AND/OR Start at 1pm Saturday : Finish at 4pm Saturday.

About

This year we are proposing an early bird entry incentive. Those who enter and pay before 24/07/2026 will have their name included on a unique event race plate and get to keep it. After that date you are issued a standard plate that must be returned after the event.

This event is the major fundraiser that Bike Melrose MTB Club run for the year with all proceeds going directly towards the provision of services and maintenance of the Melrose trails. To run the event at a loss would be to the detriment of the trail network. Therefore, we require a minimum number of 60 rider entries by 24/07/2026. If this number is not reached, we will need to cancel the event, as we did last year.

AusCycling Insurance

You MUST have a valid AusCycling membership/licence on raceday to cover insurance for this event.

You can add race event only insurance cover when you enter for $44.
Unfortunately the event date for insurance will default to purchase date. AusCycling have informed us that once the event licence is active, you need to send through your name and membership number to them. They will then adjust the dates for the event. This is also told to you via the Welcome Email that AusCycling will send once you have completed the membership.

Free Trial Memberships are available to anyone who has not held an AusCycling membership in the last 3 years- AusCycling Trial.
