About
Borrowed from Track cycling, a Points Race is a race during which points are awarded at regular intervals. In this case, every 4 laps of Vic Park, the first rider over the line will be awarded 5 points, the second awarded 3 points, third 2 points and fourth 1 point. Double points are awarded at the finish of the final lap (10, 6, 4, 2), and the winner of the race is the one with the highest number of points at the end of the race – not necessarily the one who crosses the line first at the finish. Individual entrants must be familiar with the regulations outlined in the Individual Super Series Regulations here.
Riders must not wear kit that is identical to that of a Super Series registered team.
Entrants must have a Cycling Australia Race licence to participate.
Riders must be signed on at least 15 minutes before their category start time. Failure to sign on 15 minutes prior to the event start time could mean that your start is refused.
