The DISC Velodrome coach-led junior sessions are designed to:
• Build confidence and competence riding on the boards for U11 and U13 riders
• Provide accessible, high-quality coaching for riders unable to attend weekday club sessions
• Support regional riders and clubs by offering structured development opportunities in Melbourne
• Create a coach development pathway, allowing accredited coaches to gain experience delivering junior track programs
• Improve skill progression and rider retention within junior track cycling
These sessions complement, rather than replace, club-led programs and focus on foundational skills, safe riding practices, and enjoyment.
