DOWNDURO IS BACK!

This is a collaborative event between Inside Line, Gravity Enduro SA, Gravity Girls SA & First Descent

Multiple tracks, shuttles and as many race runs as you can handle

We will be running State Downhill categories, but with some additional categories being offered with reduced race track options. Make sure to read the category section below before registering, especially if you are racing E-Bike at GESA, but want to race a normal bike at Downduro

Strictly no refunds after the scratching cutoff date a week before the event, unless a doctors certificate is provided.

NEW TO RACING?

If you are new to racing there are some key steps before signing up for an event.

Please see the guide on our website here before signing up - HOW TO START RACING DOWNHILL

RACE BOOK

The event Race Book includes key information for the upcoming race, map locations, schedules and lots of other important information.

Event Race Book can be viewed here - TBC

It will also be posted on social media channels leading up to the event.

SERIES TECHNICAL REGULATIONS

The Series Technical Regulations contains important information about rules and regulations for the Events and Series, in line with AusCycling's MTB and General Regulations, and broader Policies.

Series Tech Regs can be viewed here - State Series Technical Regulations

VOLUNTEER REGO

We are family-oriented clubs that thrives on the generosity of our members and their families to keep our events running smoothly. Thanks to our dedicated volunteers, we've been able to maintain racing costs at a minimum—often 40% lower than in other states.

To continue this tradition, we require all racers and their families to contribute a few hours of their time throughout the year. Please sign up using the link below. (New links are posted for each race.)

PIT SPACE REQUEST

Tents and gazebos are on a request basis, and once approved must be setup in the designated village zone.

Pit space requests close 7 days prior to the event. REQUEST YOUR SPACE HERE

EVENT WAIVER

By entering this event you are agreeing to our event waiver which lists out what the club & Auscycling are liable for. It is the riders responsibility to ensure they take care of themselves and their possessions including use of the bike trailers.

RACE CATEGORIES

IMPORTANT - Please ensure you select the correct category as jumping between categories during the season is generally not allowed. If you have to change category mid season, it must be cleared with the club before hand, and will result in losing all previous points and a charge for a new race plate. Be mindful that changing categories can have severe impact on series points in both the category you have joined or left so your request is not based on you alone, as it can result in others missing out on series awards. It also adds huge amounts of wasted time to an already stretched thin volunteer group.

If you are unsure about which category to enter please send us a message on Instagram or Facebook.

Age categories are determined by the age you will be on 31 December of the current year.

If you normally race Enduro with GESA and your category doens't appear above, GESA will reallocate your result into the correct category for GESA's league table post event.

Racing both e-bike and acoustic this year between GESA and Inside Line series? For this round only, you can request to have your times applied to the correct points category for both GESA and Inside Line. For example, If you enter your E-Bike in the Downduro E-Bike Elite category, ILMTB can reallocate your result into the Elite (non E-Bike category) at your request.

Any other confusing combination we will address case by case - contact GESA or ILMTB by email

SCRATCHING, REFUNDS & LATE ENTRIES

Scratching: Need to withdraw from the event? EntryBoss enables a self-serve refund if things change and you can't make the event. Please use the 'Scratch' button to trigger a refund and automatically remove yourself from the startlist, (Please note there is a scratching cut-off date off date - the button is not available after this date) .

Refunds are allowed in the week leading up to the race if you can provide a valid doctors certificate.

No refunds after the scratching cutoff 9.00pm, the Friday 8 days prior to the event for any other reason. No transfers to future events or another rider either. We will not budge on this so do not ask.

Due to the time constraints on club volunteers finalizing the race entries and timing transponder limitations, late entries are unlikely to be accepted. However, if the club can accommodate a late entry, the following additional requirements will apply on top of the original entry fee:

  • A $10 late registration fee
  • The racer must sign up on the volunteer platform to assist at the event

  • CONTACT / WAITLIST PROCESS

Entryboss will still take your payment if you are waitlisted - this does not mean you are racing - we will let you know closer to race weekend if you have been entered to race or not. If you are waitlisted and we cant find a space for you, we will refund your entry.

Entries are capped each round. Entry Status as below

  • Entered = You are racing
  • Waitlisted = you are in the queue to replace someone who drops out (you have a good chance due to the number of covid cancellations)
  • Waitlisted Doubtful = It is unlikely you will be racing
  • Note: We normally publish startlists in the week of the race, you can find these in the original page listing.

    Email insidelinemtb@gmail.com

Entries using expired or incorrect AusCycling license numbers will be automatically scratched.

Registrations requests to be made to the club email only - do not send direct messages to the committee members.

No late entries or requests to pay later in the week.
