We respect and value their past, present and ongoing connection to the land and cultural beliefs, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, nations and language groups.

The Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies website is a great place to learn more about the history of First Nations people, no matter whose land you stand on today.

Race Details

ONLY 64 Women's Entries and 64 Men's Entries will be accepted.

Round 1: All riders, drawn randomly into heats of 8, record a time in Round 1.
- The fastest 32 riders go into A grade and the next 32 riders go into B grade.

Round 2: 4x Heats of 8 riders (Heat 1 = 1st, 5th, 9th, 13th, 17th, 21st, 25th and 29th fastest from R1, and so on). - The WINNER of each Heat will go directly to the FINAL. - Riders finishing 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th will go to a Semi-Final.

Semi-Finals: Qualifying riders from Heat 1 and Heat 4 in SF1, qualifying riders from Heat 2 and Heat 3 in SF2.
- The WINNER of each Semi-Final will go into the FINAL.

Final: 6 riders, one winner. Prizing for all places in final.
