Combined Calendar

VCC and CCC are teaming up to bring you a combined road calendar for 2026. Each road race is the result of a collaborative effort between the two clubs and is supported by Alivio.

Event Information

Everyone is Welcome

Riders from any club are welcome to participate in this event.

New to Racing? Start Here

  • Register in advance via EntryBoss — no late or "at the race" entry
  • Make sure your AusCycling licence is current (see Licences below — no licence? You can get a free trial or event licence)
  • Arrive by 9:30 am to check in, collect your number, and fit your timing chip
  • Know your grade and lap distance (see Grades below)
  • Questions? Contact us. Details at the bottom of this listing.

On the Day

  1. Upon arrival, confirm your attendance at the check-in desk.
  2. A rider briefing, count and roll call will be conducted before each grade rolls away. Be ready when your grade is called.
  3. At the end of your grade, ALL riders must return to the desk to confirm they're back from the course, and return temporary numbers and tags.
  4. Placegetters, please wait for presentations and photos.
  5. Stick around for a bite and a can of drink.

Course Location & Parking

Course start/finish is just north of the corner of Brindabella and Uriarra Rd.

Course Link

Starting just north of the intersection, riders will head north and turn on Uriarra Rd before the descent to the Crossing for a ~10km lap.

Junior turns will be located on the course at 2km and 4km to allow the distance requirements to be met. Junior grades will start and finish before senior grades take the course.

Parking

Please ensure that all vehicles are parked off the road if parking on the verge. All vehicles are to be kept well clear of the start/finish area.

Race Schedule

First rider roll away 10 am sharp.

Check-in from 9:30 am on the day. Check-in for each rider closes 15 minutes before their advertised start time.

Do not arrive at the last minute — allow yourself enough time to attach your timing chip and race number.

Grades

We will run "aero" and "non-aero" categories for our iTT series this year.

  • Open Aero - 2 Laps - 20 km
  • Open Non Aero - 2 Laps - 20 km
  • Come & Try - 1 Lap - 10 km (no special equipment required — ride what you've got)
  • Junior U15, U17 - 1 Lap - 10 km
  • Junior U13 - Modified Lap - 8km
  • Junior U9, U11 - Modified Lap - 4km

The fastest times will be awarded as follows:

  • Open Aero - overall and women
  • Open Non-Aero - overall and women
  • Juniors - overall and women
  • Come & Try - overall and women

We will also publish a results list showing the fastest time by age category.

Rules

Aero

The full box and dice. UCI legal TT machines and all the trimmings.

Non-Aero

  • no disc wheel or wheels > 45mm rim depth (don't sweat it if your pride and joy came stock with deeper section wheels - register anyway)
  • no aero helmets
  • no one-piece suits (including warnies)
  • no over boots
  • no TT specific aero frame, or aero bars.

Qualifying is at the discretion of the race director.

Juniors

Juniors must race distances and use equipment in line with AusCycling Technical Regulations. Bolt-on/clip-on aero bar extensions are permitted for U15 and U17 riders only (ITT/TTT events). U13 and below must use standard "classic" drop handlebars — no clip-ons.

Junior Rollout requirements apply and may be checked by commissionaires.

Licences

AusCycling Race All Discipline licences are required for this event.

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct licence. This will be verified when you register here.

If your licence has expired or otherwise has an issue we reserve the right to scratch you from the race.

No licence?

Not to worry! If you are eligible you can take out a 4-week free trial or sign up for a one or 7 day event licence.

Unfortunately, we can't accept other types of non AusCycling cycling insurance/membership.

Registration & Pricing

Registration is only via EntryBoss so we have a full record of participants.

NO LATE OR 'AT THE RACE' REGISTRATION

Entries close at noon on the Friday before the race. This season we've moved to this earlier cut-off to take the pressure off our volunteer race organisers, and to reinforce that participation in one of our events isn't a last-minute decision.

Earlybird Pricing

If you register 7 or more days prior to the race you're eligible to use the promo code EARLYBIRD at checkout, which unlocks the discounted entry price of $20. This is an honour system — please don't use the code if you're registering within 7 days of the race.

Scratching and Cancellation

  • Scratching - Scratching is a self-serve, automated refund via EntryBoss if withdrawing within the scratching cut-off.
  • Event Cancellation - Riders will be provided with a full refund if the event is cancelled for any reason.
  • Refunds - Refunds will not be provided for no-shows or if you scratch after the cut-off.

Season Numbers

VCC and CCC Season Numbers will be used at this event.

Frame Plates and 1x Cloth Number

If you have been issued with a VCC or CCC season number, ensure you arrive at the event with your number pinned and frame plate correctly fitted to your bike.

Non-VCC and CCC riders who participate will be issued a temporary number and plate that must be returned after the event.

Prizes

On top of the great financial support Alivio has provided to the clubs this season, Alivio is providing the following prizes at this race:

  • 2 x $100 gift vouchers for The Verandah
  • 4 x $50 gift vouchers for The Verandah

The winners of these prizes will be by random selection after the race. Just stick around for the presentations and you'll be in with a chance to win!

Thank you Alivio!
