To welcome the track season and warmer days VCC/CCC are holding a Spring racing Carnival

Riders from any club are welcome to participate in this event.

Location: Narrabundah Velodrome

Racing Starts: 12:00noon

Gates open at 10:30am

Sign‑on and warm‑up from 11:00am, Racing from 12:00pm

🤔 What to Expect

Track racing is a great way to improve performance, skills, and tactical awareness – and it’s also excellent fun.

The carnival will feature a mix of events. All riders get a minimum of three races, including a scratch race and a mix of handicap, points, elimination and finishing up with an Italian Pursuit.

⚠️ Racing is weather dependent ⚠️ – a cancellation notice will be posted on the Vikings Facebook page if required.

👦 Junior Gear Restrictions

Gear restrictions apply to all junior cyclists under AusCycling regulations. These restrictions limit the rollout (distance covered per crank revolution).

⚙️ Gear Due to the velodrome's steep banking, only track bikes may be used. A limited number of club bikes are available – first in, first served!
