Entry Categories

The following categories are on offer

Riding Up & Merging

Riders are permitted to ride up into another age class or gender as per AusCycling Technical Regulations - BMX click here

2.01.02 A competitor in all categories other than participation categories (Novice, Sprockets and Mini Wheelers) may enter up two (2) categories above their racing age up to the pinnacle category. Pinnacle category is the category with a maximum age of 24, categories above the age of 24 shall be combined with the next younger category. Riders aged above 24 may enter down (ride down) to the pinnacle category (e.g 50+ rider can enter 17-24)

2.01.03 Participation categories are permitted to ride up within their category only. (e.g. Sprockets must stay in Sprockets and Novice must stay in the Novice Category).

Where a race class has less than the Sanctioning Matrix, categories may be merged

2.01.09 Merging of categories may occur when numbers within a category do not align with the Sanctioning Matrix as defined in 1.06.

In the event that a category is merged, riders will be awarded points based on the category that they are merged into. Riders will be awarded prize money based on the race class they are merged into.

Scratching:

Entered & now can't make it? An automated refund is available using the EntryBoss' Scratching mechanism. Please note the scratching cut-off because non-attendance refunds after this time are at the discretion of the event organisers and may require a medical certificate.

  • This is a transponder timed event series.
    
  • it is a rider's responsibility to ensure the transponder is correctly affixed to their bike and is operational which includes subscription

  • A transponder must have an active subscription PRIOR to entering. This can be done at https://mylaps.sqorz.com/
    
  • All riders (except participation classes) must have a transponder
• Plates:
  
  • Riders are required to supply a plate number at entry.
  • Any duplicate plate numbers will dealt with by adding an 'X' to one plate to resolve the duplicate.
