A reminder this is a National/State level AusCycling event. Sport Integrity Australia can conduct anti-doping testing at any event or competition. It is your responsibility to ensure you are aware of your obligations and have completed clean sport education.
All riders over 13 are strongly encouraged to complete Anti-Doping Fundamentals and the Annual Update online courses through the Sport Integrity Australia eLearning page:

Western Sydney Mountain Bike Club has been hosting Cyclocross racing for 10 years. We are proud to again host a round of the State CX series at the popular Sun Valley Reserve. As per previous years the Sun Valley Pony Club will be running the canteen on the day for both competitors and spectators. The whole family is welcome to attend, the location is well suited to spectating, nearly the entire course can be viewed from the hill.

Riders need to have a current AusCycling racing license (Off road OR All Discipline) to race. Never raced before? No problem! – you can get a free four-week trial license to race (this includes Juniors).

Grading guide:
• C = New to bike racing generally / moderate pace or older riders
• B = Any tyre width allowed, Pushing hard and pretty fast, but a broad range of speeds, MTBer`s will be started in a separate wave!
• A = Seasoned, competitive racers and Elites.
Your CX grade should be the same as your road racing or MTB grade. An A-grade rider trying CX for the first time is still probably best suited to A grade, etc.

Race schedule may be subject to change, depending on entries and category participants.
The course will be set depending on ground conditions on race day. We aim to have a course length of around 2 kilometers consisting of natural and manmade features on grass and sand.
The event will take place at Sun Valley Reserve there is water and toilets onsite with a canteen being run by Sun Valley Pony Club throughout the day.
Events will be run according to AusCycling Technical Regulations

Entry Refund Any rider who wishes to receive a refund more than 8 days prior to the event may do so by withdrawing by scratching themselves via their EntryBoss account. Any rider seeking a refund must submit a doctor's certificate to AusCycling. All refund requests should be sent to olivia.forrest@auscycling.org.au. Refunds will be processed in line with the AusCycling Refund Policy
