If you look at the Startlist and your name is next to the WRONG ride please let me know and I'll change it. For example if you wish to participate in the ride to the Short ride but your name has "LONG" next to it on the Startlist, just get in touch by email. If this is all too confusing - turn up at the meeting point at the right time for the ride you want to do, and you'll be able to join that group even if your start list on the Entryboss listing is incorrect.

Other things to note!
- You should plan to be self sufficient for the ride, with plenty of water on board and enough energy to get you to the end of the ride.
- You should also be prepared to fix any minor mechanical issues you have (like a flat tyre) but if you're not comfortable or aren't sure, make sure you check with your ride leader before departing on the ride that you won't get stranded.
- Your Ride Leader dictates the pace of your group ride, with the intention that you will regroup as necessary to keep the group together. If you ride away from the front of the group and get lost, that's on you.
- If you have friends who want to join you but aren't on the list - they are able to turn up and ride as long as they register on the link AND the group isn't over our maximum of 30 participants per group.

2025 Santos Tour Down Under Group Rides with AusCycling

In 2025 the Santos Tour Down Under has partnered with AusCycling on a new series of group rides set to explore Adelaide and regional South Australia.

Led by volunteers from AusCycling affiliated cycling clubs, each ride will leave from the Tour Village in Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga.

With two rides most morning, there will be a long ride, generally between 70 and 90 kilometres, and short rides extending from 25 to 50 kilometres. Full details of the program’s rides available here.

Entry cap: 30 riders per group (riders in excess of 30 will be waitlisted and then confirmed when an additional group with another Ride Leader is confirmed)

Membership & Insurance

All formally entered participants in these rides will be covered as if they were AusCycling Lifestyle - Basic members for the duration of the ride.

Participant Age

All participants under 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also registered to do the ride in the same distance in the same group. Please use the Notes to provide the parent or guardian's name on the child's entry.

All participants in the short rides must be at least 13 years old on the day of the ride. All participants in the Long ride must be at least 15 years old on the day of the ride.
