Sport Integrity Reminder

A reminder this is a National level AusCycling event. Sport Integrity Australia can conduct anti-doping testing at any event or competition. It is your responsibility to ensure you are aware of your obligations and have completed clean sport education.

All riders are strongly encouraged to complete Anti-Doping Fundamentals and the 2025 Annual Update online courses through the Sport Integrity Australia eLearning page: Sport Integrity Australia eLearning: Log in to the site. It is recommended you also download the Sport Integrity app which can assist you to check medications, supplements and complete your education.

International Competitors

International competitors wishing to compete in an Open Championships must have:

  1. An international licence issued by a National Federation recognised by the UCI; and

  2. Have met the AusCycling qualification standards below; and

  3. Be a Member of a National Team recognised by a member National Federation of the UCI.

Note: International competitors cannot be considered for national team selection.

Domestic Riders must compete as part of a State Team. All riders must have a valid UCI ID

Categories

Elite - born 2006 or earlier

U19 riders - Born in 2007 & 2008. This event requires a full all discipline race license. International riders will be required to produce their International License at Permenance.

All Riders must enter the Championships individually.

All State Teams will confirm each riders events by completing the documentation supplied to each Team Manager by COB Tuesday 18th March, 2025

International Riders please list required events in comment field.

$182.50 per rider (+payment card fee)
An Increase of CPI 4.2%

  • Online Entry via EntryBoss only. All Australian Junior 19 and Elite Riders must be part of a State / Territory Team to compete.
  • Please note Automatics and Additional rider Qualifying Times have been set for Timed Events for Junior Under 19 & Elite Riders.

The 2025 Automatic Qualifying times are as below (automatically selected without having to go to the State Selection Panel). Times must have been obtained in the previous 12 months at International, National or State Events.

The winner of the State / Territory Points Race and Scratch Race also gains automatic selection for the respective event

The 2025 Qualifying Times are as below. All States can enter a minimum 4 riders into the events listed below. States can enter additional riders if all entered riders achieve the times listed below.

Timed Events

All riders who are not registered as 180+ - see UCI list here must submit the online form and cc track@auscycling.org.au and submit within 14 days of the competition or you will not be granted the exemption

Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE)

A TUE is an exemption that allows an athlete to use, for therapeutic purposes only, an otherwise prohibited substance or method (of administering a substance). TUE approval may protect athletes from receiving a sanction if a prohibited substance is found in their sample. Who needs to complete a TUE in-advance for Cycling? Athletes who are:

• Competing in the Elite and U23 categories
• A member of the Registered Testing Pool, National Testing Pool or Domestic Testing Pool
• A member of a national open team/squad including athletes with a disability planning to compete at the Elite National Championships

Please note

The infield is a competition zone and access will be strictly limited to riders, handlers (i.e. coaches) and officials. Anyone accessing the infield will be required to have an accreditation pass. These will be checked at all infield entry points. All Team Officials are required to obtain appropriate accreditation through the Team Manager. This will be based on your team size.
