AusCycling Australia acknowledges the Kaurna people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which the Adelaide Superdrome rests. AusCycling acknowledge not only this ancestral relationship, but also the ongoing deep feelings of attachment and relationship of the people of these nations to Country. We respect and value their past, present and ongoing connection to the land and cultural beliefs. We also pay our respects to their Elders past and present. In addition, we extend that respect to other Aboriginal Language Groups and other First Nations.

About - Development Academy Road Rides

• Whilst Road Development camps teach you how to tactically and technically compete in road events, a big element of road racing is being comfortable and patient within big bunch of riders. AusCycling South Australia coaches will be running a monthly bunch ride, specifically for juniors to give them access to a bunch training ride to learn all skills that encompass massive road starts.
• All rides will be accompanied by two to three coaches as to manage group on the road. Rides to start with, will be kept at a two hour moving time limit, as the overall focus is creating bunch awareness.
• We invite juniors between u15 to u17 to join us, as we trek into the Adelaide Hills in search of scenic climbs, hidden gems and flowing descents

Requirements for Road Ride

• Active AusCycling Membership
• Confident within abilities on the road
• MUST have a puncture repair saddle bag with them
• Confident abilities in changing spare
• Lights for visibility
• Clothing suitable for weather conditions .

Day

• All rides will start from Victoria Park as a central meeting point
• Please arrive between 8:30am to 8:45am for a 9:00am sharp departure
• Loop to be publish via strava link https://www.strava.com/routes/3231154377243623694
• Arrive back at Victoria Park between 11:00am to 11:30am
