Since April 25th, 2017 we have raced, all but one year, at Sandown on ANZAC Day.

We invite members from all clubs to come and participate in this special race. The race has honoured the life of Damion Drapac since 2020 and in memory of Damion we ask that you bring your racing spirit as we look forward to competitive, individual club racing.

The prizes are worthy of the best on the day.

A lap of honour followed by the "Classic Laps" event (4 laps non-racing) will start the day, remembering Damion's love for classic bicycles. Followed by the graded racing, see below.

Gates open at 11:30am. Entry off Princes Hwy only.

Food and Coffee vans on the day.

Team tents welcome on grassed area in front of pit lane, please remove all vehicles by 12pm.

1:00pm - A Grade (including lap of honour) - 33 laps

1:05pm - Womens A Grade - 20 laps

1:10pm - Womens B and C Grades - 15 laps

1:15pm - U17 Men - 15 laps

1:20pm - U17 Women - 12 laps

3:30pm - B Grade - 24 laps

3:35pm - C and D Grade - 18 laps

3:40pm - U15 Boys and Girls - 6 laps

3:45pm - U13/11 Boys and Girls - 4 laps

Race Entry Procedures

• Scratching: Scratching is a self-serve, automated refund via EntryBoss if withdrawing within scratching cut-off.

• Startlists: Please review published startlists to confirm your allocated grade.

• Handicapping Queries: If you wish to discuss your grading with the handicapper please contact race@carnegiecycling.com.au at least 48 hrs before the race.

• Online Entries Only: Please note that entries close at 6pm Tuesday 23rd of April. Grade limits apply.

• Please bring your license: Riders need a current license (or proof of renewal) to race. AC licenses only.
