EVENT 1 SCRATCH
Lightning Scratch - 6 Laps - youth race for Junior B and Junior A
C Grade 3 - 20 Laps
B Grade - 20 Laps
A Grade - 40 Laps
1000 metres grades derby youth race for Junior B and Junior A

EVENT 2 POINTS RACE - Sprint every 10 laps all grades
C Grade - 20 Laps
B Grade - 30 Laps
A Grade - 40 Laps

EVENT 3 TEMPO
C Grade - 12 Laps - 1 Point awarded each lap from end of third lap
B Grade - 16 Laps - 1 Point awarded each lap from end of third lap
A Grade - 25 Laps - 1 Point awarded each lap from end of fifth lap

EVENT 4 GROUP HANDICAP and ELIMINATION
C Grade - Handicap - 6 Laps
B Grade - Elimination - After 4 rolling laps one rider eliminated each lap.
A Grade - Elimination - After 4 rolling laps one rider eliminated each lap.

Warm down at end of racing - time permitting.

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

An AusCycling “Race – All Discipline” license is required for riders to be eligible to participate in our races. All the information regarding this license can be found here: www.auscycling.org.au/membership/race-all-discipline Alternatively, for those looking to try racing an AusCycling “All Discipline – 4 Week Trial” is available. JUNIOR RESTRICTIONS

X-Speed Cycling Club supports the development of junior athletes and provides racing opportunities for all ages and abilities, subject to the AusCycling policies for Junior riders, including equipment restrictions.

Gear (rollout) restrictions apply to all age groups from U9 to J17 in competitions and any training sessions. It should be noted that these restrictions also apply even when riding in combined or graded racing or training sessions.
