About WSMTB Gravity Social Day

All trails at Del Rio will be open and able to be ridden on a Gravity Social Day. Del Rio has a mix of Black and Blue trails (as designated by the IMBA trail rating system) that will be used on Gravity Social Days. Riders will be shuttled to the drop off point and then will be able to ride to the start of the trails. A full-face helmet will be required for all Gravity Social Days. All trails have A, B and in some cases, C lines and as such are suitable for Trail, Enduro or Down Hill bikes. The trails at Del Rio are on private property and are only available to be ridden on club days.

Equipment

For all race and social events at Del Rio Resort Full-face helmets will be mandatory for all riders.

A jersey or shirt covering the elbows must be worn as a minimum. 3/4 length jerseys are acceptable. Knees must be covered by full-length trousers and/or self-fastening knee or knee/shin guards expressly designed for offroad competition

For all riders who are eligible to compete in the Under 15, and Under 17 categories, the following equipment is mandatory:

• Full-finger gloves must be worn;

• Full-length jersey – jersey must cover elbows at all times;

• Knee pads and elbow pads must be worn.

AusCycling and WSMTB strongly recommend the use of the following for all competitors:

• Neck brace expressly designed for off-road competition;

• Back and shoulder protection expressly designed for the purpose;

• Full finger gloves;

• Elbow protectors and/or long-sleeve jersey to the wrist;

• Goggles are expressly designed for this purpose

Registration

Registration is ONLINE ONLY and you must have a valid AusCycling or One Day Event Licence. No late entries will be accepted. For AusCycling licence information please visit https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership.

One Day Event Licence

If you are not a current member, then you may include the purchase of a temporary membership in your entry. AusCycling's One Day Event Licence is a great option for people who like to race occasionally and would prefer not to commit for a full year. The cost for a One Day Event Licence is $44 + the entry fee and is fully refunded if the event is cancelled or you scratch prior to the event.

WSMTB Club Membership

If our are not already a member of the WSMTB Club through AusCycling you can add us to your licence through AusCycling. Please visit AusCycling - Become A Member Of Multiple Clubs and select Western Sydney Mountain Bike Club from the list. Club membership cost $25 per year and offers discounted entry fees and helps support the running cost of the club.

Food, Toilets and Accommodation

• Toilets are available.
• There is a takeaway shop that is open during the day.
• The Del Rio Resort Pub pub opens after 5pm.
• Del Rio Resort also has a range of accommodation available including camping.
