Riding Up

Riders should nominate in their age and gender class. Rider’s may ride up into another age class or gender as per ACTRB 2.01. Under subscribed classes will be merged with an older class, however, classes with an age of more than 24 years shall be combined with the next younger class. Merged classes will be scored as per their nominated class. E.g 12 year boys merged with 13 year boys. The highest placed 12 year boy will receive 1st place in the nominated class regardless of the position he finishes in the merged class.

Scratching:

Entered & now can't make it? An automated refund is available using the EntryBoss' Scratching mechanism. Please note the scratching cut-off because non-attendance refunds after this time are at the discretion of the event organisers and may require a medical certificate.

Quick Reminders

• Transponders:
  
  • This is a transponder timed event series.
    
  • it is a rider's responsibility to ensure the transponder is correctly affixed to their bike and is operational which includes subscription
  • Transponders can be purchased at https://www.sqorz.com/store/p3/transponder.html#/
    
  • A transponder must have an active Subscription PRIOR to entering. This can be done at https://mylaps.sqorz.com/
    
  • All riders (except Participation classes) must have a transponder
• Plates:
  
  • Riders are required to supply a plate number at entry.
  • Any duplicate plate numbers will dealt with by adding an 'X' to one plate to resolve the duplicate.

Special Note:

• Jingili All Star Award and Perpetual Trophy.
  • The rider who places first in their nominated class with the most consistent lap times will be awarded this trophy.
• *Criteria *
  • The rider must come first in all motos, including finals
  • If a rider's race class is merged, scoring will be based on their position in their nominated race class - A rider may nominate up. However, will be scored on the race class that they nominated in and not on their age as of 31st of December 2023
  • The rider with the smallest time between their fastest and slowest moto times (including all finals) will be deemed the winner
  • No additional entry is required. All riders in Challenge Class (including Masters) are automatically entered. You will receive a trophy on the day of racing, along with your name being added to a perpetual trophy, which will remain in the registration hut at Jingili BMX Club.

Event Cancellation Refunds

• Riders will receive 100% refunds if the event is cancelled.
• We will do our best to communicate our intentions early if the event is at risk of not proceeding.
