Race Info

This 3 hour race event is the opportunity to crack out your lights💡🚴💡 as we head into the cooler winter racing season across the district.

Racing will be a 4:30pm afternoon start at Tamworth Mountain Bike Park, and once the dust is stirred up the race continues through dusk and into the night for this 3 hour game of dodging shadows and rabbits 🐇 Lights will need to be on bikes for any riding after 6:00pm.

Last lap start must be before 7:30pm. This means you can complete your last lap after 7:30pm

Collect your race plates from 4:00pm, with race briefing occurring at 4:15pm (15 minutes prior to race start).

You must have your own suitable lighting mounted and illuminated to continue racing after sunset.

Race Categories

• Solo M (U17s and above)
• Solo F (U17s and above)
• Pairs Mixed (U15 teams of 2, U13s may ride in a Pair with an U15s)
• E-bikes and Adaptive Bikes
• Dirtmasters (shortened duration for U13s and U11s)

Race Route/Loop

The course will provide the opportunity for a fast and flowing pace, utilising the mostly wide and flowy sections of Tamworth Mountain Bike Park.

As always, you can opt to ride until you've had enough (ride for an hour, take an hour off, ride a bit more) - the most laps in the shortest total time counts.

Entry Cost

All riders require a Cycling Australia licence to race. If rider is not a Cycling Australia member then a $30 per day race licence will need to be purchased on top of the below costs.
