Event type: Graded Open Senior and Junior Handicap
Race categories: Senior Open Group Handicap (final number of groups will depend on entries) - U15/U17 Open Group Handicap (final number of groups will depend on entries)
Race Distance: Seniors 80km - Juniors 40km
Entry fees Seniors: $75 ($140 for both days - discount will be automatically applied once entered into both events)
Entry fees Juniors: $40 ($70 for both days - discount will be automatically applied once entered into both events)
Entries close: Midnight on Monday, 10 April 2023
Location: Town Hall, Casterton
Start Time: Juniors from 11:30am - Seniors from 2pm

Eligibility

All participants are required to hold a valid AusCycling Race All Discipline membership

Please note temporary/trial memberships cannot be accepted as they cover riders for club events only.

  • Please select one of the following OPEN grades when entering: A+, A, B, C, D, E. Please note: The selection of a grade merely serves as additional information for the handicapper.
  • Please provide as much information as possible to assist the handicapper in the remarks field (recent race results incl. club grade, power data (FTP raw and w/kg) if available, similar riders etc.).
  • Please note that the final number and size of groups will depend on number and depth of entries.

Junior Casterton 40

  • Please select your age category and appropriate grade
  • Please provide as much information as possible to assist the handicapper in the remarks field (recent race results incl. club grade, power data (FTP raw and w/kg) if available, similar riders etc.).

2023 AusCycling Elite and Open Masters 100km State Championships - Victoria

  • Offered VRS categories (open to individuals and teams*): Elite Men A, Women A, Masters Men A
    *Teams must be registered before entries close or the riders will be listed as individuals.
  • This event is open to riders from lower VRS categories! Series points will only be awarded to A grade riders.

Scratching/refunds Riders wishing to scratch and get a refund from the event can do by logging into their Entryboss account using the scratch button. A medical certificate will be required (by COB on Friday, 14 April 2023) for refunds after entries have closed.

Junior Handicap 42km

  • Please select your age category and appropriate grade
  • Please provide as much information as possible to assist the handicapper in the remarks field (recent race results incl. club grade, power data (FTP raw and w/kg) if available, similar riders etc.).
  • Please note that the final number and size of groups will depend on number and depth of entries.

Late entries will not be accepted for this event.

IMPORTANT: After a successful entry the rider will automatically be given the status provisionally entered. This is normal and means the entry has officially been registered. The status won’t change until grading and membership have been confirmed by an AusCycling staff member.

The status ‘doubtful’ or ‘waitlisted’ generally means the event category has reached it’s capacity and a rider has been moved to a waitlist.

Race Format and Regulations

This event is held as a graded handicap: riders will be competing for the overall handicap as well as for the results within their group.

AusCycling Technical Regulations - General & Road will apply.

  • Fastest Time Male and Female: $300 each
