Friendly. Fun. Food. No pressure. 1,000's of $ of Giveaways… and we’ll make up the rules as we go depending on numbers and abilities.

KIDS - there will be heaps of gear giveaways from Tasmania's finest riders including a recent Commonwealth Games gold medalist!!!!

Racing will be for Seniors, Masters and Juniors U19 , U17 , U15 , U13 , U11 (if we have entries)

Adult racing will be conducted in grades rather than age groups. Riders should indicate preferred grade when entering. U17 riders may race in senior grades. Men and Women risers will race in combined grades. if sufficient women entries are received then separate women's race will be run.

Events may include#

Standing 400m time trial from start chute.

Tempo race - 1 point awarded for the leader on each lap - most points wins.

"Catch and Lap scratch race. Fastest grades start first with e.g. 15 laps to go followed by B grade with 14 laps to go and c grade with 13 laps to go. First rider across the line wins. Encourages groups to work together to catch the groups ahead before fighting out the finish.

the Longest lap - riders may not cross the line before the starter blows the whistle. riders then sprint 1 lap to the finish.

Fun Madison ride - lets learn to ride the Madison. we'll get the experienced riders to help the newbies understand how the Madison works and bring them along for the ride.

Detailed schedule to be finalised closer to event, when we know numbers. At the end of the day - we just want everyone to have fun.

Donation Bin Bring your unwanted clothing and track bike parts and donate them to the club so we can build bikes for our kids and new riders.

Fun in the Sun. Bring a shade and pitch it round the race track or in the middle.
