2022 Alpinestars VIC Schools MTB Series - Round 4 You Yangs

Registration and Start Times: Registration will open at 8:00am. The first race will begin at 9:30am, detailed schedule below - updated on Saturday 10 September!

Round 4 of the Alpinestars VIC Schools MTB Series will be at You Yangs Regional Park in the Stockyards MTB area. Riders are expected to race on a roadworthy bike, we will have two bike mechanics on hand performing bike checks.

Age categories and race distance:

U9 - approx 2.5kms (U9 course)

U11 - approx 5kms (Short course)

U13 - approx 7kms (Short course)

U15 - approx 12kms (Long course)

U17 - approx 15kms (Long course)

U19 - approx 20kms (Long course)

Riders can choose to enter one of two categories in their chosen age category:

Novice category is suitable for a rider who is new to MTB racing, or has limited experience racing before.

Racing category is suitable for a rider who is experienced and raced at either Club, State or National levels.

Location / Parking This round uses the trail network at the You Yangs Regional Park from the Stockyards MTB Area. Parking is accessed from Drysdale Road, Little River.

Registration is open from 8.30am on race day and riders must visit registration at least 30 minutes prior to race start to check their names off and receive their race number.

Water: Please bring sufficient water with you as there is none available at the event village and vendors will have limited supply.

Food & Drinks will be available to purchase with a coffee van and sausage sizzle.
