About
The 2022 Oceania BMX Racing Championships & 2022 Oceania BMX Racing Challenge will be held at Sleeman BMX Track, Brisbane.

There will be no late entries accepted for this event. To ensure that you do not miss out on participating in the event, please ensure you enter in accordance with the closing date stipulated.

Notes:
- Riders may only enter their correct racing age and gender category for the Oceania Championships.
- Riders entered into Championship categories cannot enter into Challenge categories.
- Riders who enter into a Championship category at the Oceania Championships, cannot then race in a Challenge category at the 2022 UCI BMX Racing World Championships.
- For a category to be held, at least five (5) riders must be registered in that category.

Scratching
Entered & now can't make it?* An automated refund is available using the EntryBoss' Scratching mechanism.
Please note: In order to receive a refund, riders must scratch by the entry close date. After this date has passed, in order to obtain a refund, riders must request a refund via email to events@auscycling.org.au, with a copy of their medical certificate attached. The refund request and medical certificate must be received by AusCycling prior to race day (for clarity this is prior to 8 April 2022). Practice Day
- AusCycling will be holding a practice day on Thursday, 7 April at Sleeman BMX Track.
- The cost will be $10 per rider per session.
- Riders can add the relevant practice session when completing their entry form on EntryBoss for the event.
- Please view the event schedule for specific session times.
Quick Reminders
Transponders:
- This is a transponder timed event series.
- It is a rider's responsibility to ensure the transponder is correctly affixed to their bike and is operational which includes subscription.
- Transponders can be purchased at https://shop.auscycling.org.au/products/prochip-flex
- A transponder must have an active Subscription PRIOR to entering. This can be done at https://mylaps.sqorz.com/
- All riders (except Participation classes) must have a transponder
Plates:

Championship Event:
- Riders without a UCI International Elite Number will be allocated a Race Plate number, in accordance with section 6.1.095 bis of the UCI Regulations – BMX.
- Riders will be given a Race Plate when they attend Event Registration.

Challenge Event:
- Riders are required to supply a plate number at entry.
- Any duplicate plate numbers will dealt with by adding an 'X' to one plate to resolve the duplicate.
Event Cancellation Refunds
Riders will receive 100% refunds if the event is cancelled.
Please Note: In the event that the Oceania Championships are unable to proceed, a BMX event will still be run on this day.
