FIELD ENGINEERS BOOGIEMAN SERIES Race 1

ABOUT

This event is a Cross Country MTB race open to Senior and Junior riders of all ages.
This race is a DAY / NIGHT event for Senior riders (U15's and older) on a course suitable for any new riders who would like to give it a go. Bike lights and/or helmet lights will be mandatory.

U11 and U13 riders will by DAY time only.

The Senior course will be approximately 3 kms in length.
The U11 and U13 course will be a modified and shortened version of the Senior track likely to be around 1.5 kms in length.
Dirtmachines (3-7yrs) will have a supervised 15min ride session on the MTB 101 course or pump track.

Course Marshalls and event staff will be available to assist riders. Unfortunately, riding cannot commence until sufficient Course Marshalls have been secured. If you know someone who will be at the event who is able to Marshall, please contact the club.

There will be NO canteen available on the day.

THE CLUB ASKS ALL PARTICIPANTS TO PLEASE REGISTER ONLINE. If you are having trouble registering via the internet, please contact the club.

RACE DURATIONS

Race lengths and times are set in accordance with MTBA regulations:
Dirtmachines – 15min ride
U13 and U11 – 20-30min (1.5km track – 2 or 3 laps)
A Grade – 1h 15min (3km track – laps to be determined)
B Grade – 1h (3km track – laps to be determined)
C Grade – 45min (3 km track – laps to be determined)
