MADMTBC 2021 XC Race 4

ABOUT

This event is a Cross Country MTB race open to Senior and Junior riders of all ages. This race may be slightly more difficult than the first events for 2021, but still achievable for most. Will still be suitable for any new riders who would like to give it a go.

• There is an Adult Social category available on the day.
  
• The Senior course will be approximately 3 kms in length.
  
• The U11 and U13 course will be a modified and shortened version of the Senior track likely to be around 1.5 kms in length.
  
• Dirtmachines (3-7yrs) will have a supervised 15min ride session on the MTB 101 course.
  

Course Marshalls will be around the track to assist riders including Sweep Riders. Unfortunately, riding cannot commence until sufficient Course Marshalls have been secured. If you know someone who will be at the event who is able to Marshall, please contact the club.

There will be NO canteen available on the day.

THE CLUB ASKS ALL PARTICIPANTS TO PLEASE REGISTER ONLINE. If you are having trouble registering via the internet, please contact the club. The contact number for the event is available until 9pm each day.

RACE DURATIONS

Race lengths and times are set in accordance with MTBA regulations:
Dirtmachines – 15min ride
U13 and U11 – 20-30min (1.5km track – 2 or 3 laps)
A Grade – 1h 15min (3km track – laps to be determined)
B Grade – 1h (3km track – laps to be determined)
C Grade – 45min (3 km track – laps to be determined)
