The 1.5km Swim is a triangle shaped 2 Lap course in the internationally renowned Shoalwater Islands Marine Park. Be sure to bring your best pair of goggles as the water is usually super calm and crystal clear. If you're lucky you might even spot one of the local fairy penguins that draw tourists from across the world.
The 40km Bike course consists of 5 Laps with each lap following the coast until cutting through towards Cape Peron and coming back the same way past transition. There are a few technical turns but the course is very flat and has plenty of long stretches where you can put your head down and get up plenty of speed. Roads will be closed to traffic for the duration of the event.
The 10km Run is 4 Laps and has competitors following the footpath along the coast with an out and back 2.5km lap. There will be an aid station roughly every 1km and plenty of crowd support. Competitors will run through Club Alley toward the end of each lap and some residents along the course setup a chair in their front yard and cheer everyone on which makes for a great atmosphere.
