Two-step registration

Step 1 AusCycling membership

• Your child needs a current AusCycling membership to participate

• Create an AusCycling account if you haven't already got one
• Choose your AusCycling membership option (see options below)

• 1-month week trial (if not already used)
• 'Ride - Concession' $99/year for kids 13 - 18 years old
• 'Race - Concession' $149/year for kids 13 - 18 years old
• All kids 7 - 13 years old $99/year includes race membership
• Family discount 15% for 2 or more members

Step 2 Choose your club and get your AC number

• Make sure you choose 'Rockhampton MTB Club" (helps us improve our club)
  
• Write down the AusCycling membership number
  

Step 3 Register for the term (includes 5 ride sessions)

• Register for Whipsnakes event entry button below (you will need your AusCycling membership number)

About

• Have fun riding the trails with other kids
• Learn the basic bike checks
• Led by AusCycling accredited ride leaders

Term registrations are open for our Rockhampton Whipsnakes Junior social rides.

What:

Fortnightly junior social mountain bike rides We will take you through pre-ride checks, safety, followed by an easy social ride, sticking to green and blue trails depending on group skill level. Skills sessions and games.

When:

Time: 4.15 - 5.15pm
Every second Thursday: School weeks 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9
Dates include: 1. 08/10/2026, 2. 22/10/2026, 3. 05/11/2026, 4. 19/11/2026 and 5. 03/12/2026

How much:

Cost is only $25 for the term.

Who:

Age group is 7 to 15 years old.

Where:

Meet at the First Turkey Trail head at German Street car park

Requirements

• Properly fitting helmet that meets Australian Standards
• Well maintained and fully functioning mountain bike
• Water bottle or hydration pack
• Riders and parents to agree to abide by code of conduct during the sessions
• Parent permissions
• Medication if required with authority to use
