As part of GMBC's commitment in increasing female participation in mountain biking, we are again running a special Women's round of the No Frills Series this Spring. The No Frills Femmes race aims to encourage and support more women and girls to take up and enjoy mountain-biking.

We want to create a safe and competitive environment for women to race, so Round 6 will be two races back-to-back: one for the ladies and one for the gents.

This Race is for the men's categories and starts directly after the women's race, running on the same course.

PARTICIPATION IN THIS EVENT REQUIRES THAT YOU HAVE A VALID AUSCYCLE RACE LICENCE

No Frills Mountain Bike Racing is for 13yo and older Male and Female Riders. The focus is on fun and gaining skills through a typical club racing format. These races involve Mountain Bikes and E-Mountain Bikes only. This race is part of the 6 Race Winter Series held at the You Yangs Mountain Bike Park

Adaptive Riders are welcome to race in all our events. Although we do not have enough entrants to create a separate category at this stage, adaptive riders are eligible to compete in whatever grade they feel suit their ability level. We are always considerate of the needs of the adaptive rider and will do our best to run courses that also cater for their needs as well as the rest of our members. As an adaptive rider if you can let us know in advance then we can also alter our courses even more to cater for your needs
