You Yangs Trail Maintenance Day

Geelong Mountain Bike Club, along with Parks Victoria, needs your help to keep the trails in good shape. This is your chance to get involved, get your hands dirty and give the trails some much needed love and attention. Works will include minor maintenance tasks such as clearing drains, removing roots, cutting back vegetation, filling holes etc.

Specific focus for this maintenance day: Tackle some trails in the Kurrajong MTB Area

Lunch will be provided from 12-12:30pm. Social Ride from 1:30pm. Why not make a day of it.

If you regularly attend the club trail maintenance days, please consider registering with Parks Victoria as a volunteer. It doesn't take long, but have your WWCC card close so you can upload the details - you don't need a scanned copy, they just ask for the details on the card. This helps ParksVic record the volunteer hours spent maintaining the park. It also means you will receive email notification when a GMBC maintenance day is logged on the ParksVic portal.
