Inspiring Kids to race

Hawthorn Cycling club is once again delivering the "Let's Race " cycling development program developed by Cycing Victoria and aimed specifically for junior riders. Lets Race is a fun and interactive learning program for kids who are already riding thier bikes and want to gain more skills, knowledge and confidence to take the next step into racing safely in local junior races.

On completion of the course all participants will receive a 1 year Cycling Australia VIP race membership to Hawthorn Cycling Club.

Whats included:

• Five sessions where you will learn the skills needed to start racing in upcoming junior events and school racing.

Who's this for?

• Boys and girls aged 9 to 14 years

Where and when?

Location: Hawthorn Velodrome, Robinson Road, Hawthorn.

Dates: Monday 30th Sept - Friday 4th Oct.

Time: 10am - 11.45pm

Program requirements

Participants need to

• Have a roadworthy bike, (pre0ferably road bikes
• Have an Australian Standards helmet
• Be able to confidently ride a bike
