Location: First Turkey Mountain Bike Reserve, Norman Gardens

Entries Close: 12pm Friday 1st May 2026

Registration/Race Plate Allocation: 6:45 to 7:30am at German Street Car Park

Riders Briefing: 7:50am at start of the first competitive stage (TBA)

Race start time: 8:00am at the start of first competitive stage (TBA)

NB: Riders will need to be Registered with their Race Plate attached and leave the registration area by about 7:30am to be at the Riders' Briefing at 7:50am.

Skill Level: This event requires a moderate to high level of MTB riding skill.

Protective Equipment: Australian Standard full face helmets must be worn for competitive stages in this event.

Additional protection, such as knee and elbow guards, gloves and protective eye wear, are recommended.

Helmets must be worn on transition stages, but you can switch to open face helmets in these non competitive sections.

First Aid: A professionally qualified provider will be in attendance.

Event Format: Gravity Enduro Racing This event is a gravity enduro–style competition held at First Turkey Mountain Bike Reserve, with the course starting and finishing at the German Street Car Park on Sunday morning.

What to Expect:

• A fun, fast-paced enduro format that rewards consistency and skill

• 3–5 timed stages (depending on category), focused primarily on downhill riding

• Rider placings determined by aggregate time across all timed stages

• Untimed (or lightly timed) transfer stages between runs to keep the event flowing and riders moving safely

• Riders will start each timed stage at 30-second intervals, unless otherwise directed

• Transfer sections will have generous cut-off times to maintain start order and ensure smooth event progression

• Clear instructions will be provided by officials and starters on the day.

Categories: Elite Men, Sport Men, Open Ladies, Masters, Super Masters, Novice, Juniors (aged 11 to 16), E-bike.

Course: Will be advised closer to the date. Course subject to change at the Event Director's discretion.

Duration: The 2026 Giant Rockhampton Enduro Series Round 1 is estimated to finish at 11am on Sunday morning, but this will depend on the number of riders. Carry water and snacks!

Online Entry Cost: $35 seniors $25 juniors

Online Entries Only: No entries on race day. Entries close 12pm Friday 1st May 2026.

Memberships and Licences: An AusCycling Race Off-Road, Race All Discipline, One Day or 7 Day Event Licence is required for entry to this event.

Awards and Series Points: There will be podium place presentations following the event. Any prizes will be randomly drawn and subject to sponsorship uptake.
