Rider Safety

UQCC150 lapper is not a race and safety is paramount. Riders must be present for briefing at 7pm. When being paced, riders must remain in single file in the sprinters lane behind the moto. On completion of one lap behind the moto the front rider will swing up after the start finish line and move to the back of the bunch.

On sprint laps, riders must hold their line and always check for other riders before moving off your line. Riders not sprinting should remain in the sprinters lane. Both hands must remain on the bars at all times.

The moto will indicate on the back straight to show riders that next time across the line is the beginning of a sprint lap. The moto will exit onto the cote d'Azur before the sprint lap and rejoin once the sprint is complete.

The moto rider and track side coach have discretion to remove any rider from the bunch if they are deemed unsafe or riding too slowly to stay on the wheel.

Remember - this is not a race. There are no prizes, podiums or champagne celebrations.

By registering for the event and presenting for the event, you acknowledge that this event is run under AusCycling's rules. You must be an active AusCycling member to participate.
