• Refund Policy: No refunds (including scratching) for changes of mind, injuries, sickness or broken bikes will be issued. Please see our concussion policy.
  

• Membership Requirements: You must have full Auscycling membership (including Off Road Racing) to race. As a State level competition, 4 weeks free trial memberships are not sufficient.

• Provisional Entry: : After entering, you will receive an entry confirmation email. If this says you are 'provisionally entered', you are entered in the event. Entry becomes confirmed when you have registered at the race and collected your race plate.

Waitlists:

• As always, there is a capacity constraint on our events which may mean you are advised you are waitlisted at entry. If you are a protected rider (top 5/10 in series depending on category), you will be prioritised from the waiting list first.
• Waitlisted basically means you are waiting to see if a spot becomes available. Please stay on the waiting list as we usually are able to offer the majority of riders an entry, and we will let you know as soon as possible if we are able to accommodate you. Due to the high demand in some categories, this can mask the overall capacity of the event so please be patient and we will admit as many riders as we can.
• If a spot becomes available, you will receive an automated email notifying you of your changed status. If not, you will receive a full refund.
• If you no longer want to be on the waitlist, you can remove yourself by scratching and receive a full refund.

*Round 1 - Mt Taylor *

Location:

Mt Taylor MTB Park, Bulumwaal Road Mt Taylor. Approximately 15 minutes north of Bairnsdale.

The track will be closed to bikes from Thursday 2nd October to protect club volunteers while they complete final maintenance and prepare for the race. Please respect the safety of club volunteers by adhering to this. Track walks are recommended.

As per our new rules and regulations, self-shuttling can result in disqualification.

Other Info:
Camping:	Due to limited space for car parking and event village, camping will not be permitted on site on race weekend. There is plenty of affordable accommodation available in Bairnsdale, Paynesville, Eagle Point, Metung, Lakes Entrance and surrounds. For accommodation and other activities available in the area please visit: www.visiteastgippsland.com.au
Parking:	Parking on site is limited. Please follow directions given by parking marshals and car pool from town to the event wherever possible. Cars should not be parked on Bulumwaal Road but can be parked on nearby tracks ensuring enough space for other vehicles to pass.
Rubbish:	Please use bins provided or take rubbish home with you.
Dogs:	Are allowed on site but must be on lead at all times.
Food:	The club will be running a BBQ providing tasty hot and cold food, snacks, and cold drinks
Team Tents:	There is limited space on site for team tents. Email Melissa to book a site and include the size of area required in email: secretary@mtbeg.com.au
WATER	There is no water facilities onsite, please bring your own or purchase from the food tent.

Race Schedule

Saturday

8am - 2pm: Rego open - please remember to bring your helmet and photo ID to rego

8am-9am: Track Walk

Practice: These times are provisional, please monitor socials and listen out for announcements as these times may vary depending on track conditions and rider numbers

9am - 1pm: B group practice

1pm - 4pm: A group practice

(A group is Elite, Expert and U19, all other categories are B group)

Sunday

8am -9am: Rego open

8am-10.45am: Open practice - please note, you must complete a compulsory practice run on Sunday to be able to race.

11.00 approx: Racing Starts

Presentation for all categories will be held at the end of racing.
