About

• Have fun riding the trails with other kids
• Learn the basic bike checks
• Led by AusCycling accredited ride leaders

Term registrations are open for our Rockhampton Whipsnakes Junior social rides.

What:

Fortnightly junior social rides will be held Thursdays from 4pm-5pm starting on 17 July 2025. We will take you through pre-ride checks, safety, followed by an easy social ride, sticking to green and blue trails depending on group skill level.

When:

Dates include: 1. 17/07/2025, 2. 31/07/2025, 3. 14/08/2025, 4. 28/08/2025 and 5. 11/09/2025

How much:

Cost is only $25 for the term.

Who:

Age group is 8 to 15 years old.

Where:

Meet at the First Turkey Trail head at German Street car park

Requirements

• Current AusCycling membership for whole term - Lifestyle level membership is the minimum. Free trial membership is available (this will cover you for 4 consecutive weeks), https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership/other/free-trial
  
• Properly fitting helmet that meets Australian Standards
• Well maintained and fully functioning mountain bike
• Water bottle or hydration pack
• Riders and parents to agree to abide by code of conduct during the sessions
• Parent permissions
