(Women Adult's grades; never previously entered a NSW-ACT CX Series race)
For Junior categories, and C and B grades any suitable bike may be used, and there is no restriction for tyres. A mountain bikes, gravel, or cyclocross bike is recommended, with tyres 30mm or more.
For A grade men and women, riders must use a drop bar bike, with tyres no greater than 35mm.
Riders need to have a current AusCycling racing license (Off road OR All Discipline) to race. Never raced before? No problem! – you can get a free four-week trial license to race (this includes Juniors).
See this page for details on all license types including the free four-week trial
Only racing Cyclocross? Choose an Offroad license to save money.
Grading guide:
• C = New to bike racing generally / moderate pace or older riders (any bike);
• B = Any tyre width allowed, Pushing hard and pretty fast, but a broad range of speeds (any bike);
• A = Seasoned, competitive racers and Elites (drop bars and <35mm tyres).
Your CX grade should be the same as your road racing or MTB grade. An A-grade rider trying CX for the first time is still probably best suited to A grade, etc.
• Senior men’s and women’s grades: $25
• Offer! New women riders race free! To enter please email olivia.forrest@auscycling.org.au
• Juniors: $15

Hylton Moore Park is a mostly grass course, with a number of steep banks and hill at the centre. Tree sections will provide technical features, and fast off camber corners and a creek crossing will challenge traction. The course will be 2km+ per lap.
The venue is approximately an hour’s drive from Hornsby in Sydney’s Northwest, and 1hr 20 south of Newcastle. Hylton Moore Park is a short drive east of Gosford along the Central Coast Highway. Turn left at Althorp Street, East Gosford, and continue along to see the park on the right. Our course will be using the space between the Soccer and AFL grounds.
Parking: There are several car parks at Hylton Moore Park. The best options will be at the end of Althorp Street, or right on Coburg Street.
Accommodation: Coming for the weekend? East Gosford, Erina and Wamberal are close to the event site. Join us for a club ride Saturday morning as well.
Events will be run according to AusCycling Technical Regulations
