2026 Northwave NSW/ACT Junior Road Series This event is the fifth & final round of the Northwave NSW/ACT Junior Road Series for 2026! Riders (U13 - U17) will be able to collect points throughout the rounds which will total up to determine an overall winner after 5 rounds of competitive racing!

Age Categories & Eligibility Criteria

• Age Categories for this event are as per 2026 ages effective from 1st January 2026
• Financial AusCycling "Race All Discipline" members.
• This event is not open to Temporary or Recreational Memberships

Clarification of 2026 Regulations for Under 17 and Under 15 Road Riders – Handlebars

• Handlebars must be of a standard or "classic" drop style.
• Brake hoods must be aligned to point straight ahead when positioned parallel to the flare of the drop handlebars.
• Hand placement: Riders must always maintain full contact with the brake hoods or handlebars. It is not acceptable to rest only fingers on the hoods.
* No TT bars can be used for the Stage 1 Prologue

• 7:45am - Sign-on
• 8:30am - First Race
• Stage 1 - Prologue, Lansdowne Criterium Track
• Stage 2 - Kermesse, Lansdowne Criterium Track
• Stage 3 - Road Race (U9-U13 Only), Lansdowne Criterium Track

Day 2 - Oakville Public School

• No Sign-on
• 9:00am - First Race
• Stage 3 - Road Race (U15/U17 ONLY) - Oakville 7km circuit

Any rider who wishes to receive a refund more than 7 days prior to the event may do so by withdrawing by scratching themselves via their EntryBoss account. Any rider seeking a refund must submit a doctor's certificate to AusCycling. All refund requests should be sent to nsw.info@auscycling.org.au. Refunds will be processed in line with the AusCycling Refund Policy
