UQCC is a bicycle racing club based in Brisbane, Australia. A leading club with a rich racing heritage, we love to ride, race, and explore the wonderful corner of the world we live in.

UQCC is hosting a members-only club crit at the Albert Bishop Park & Criterium Circuit, Nundah (Nundahdome).

By registering for the event and presenting for the race, you acknowledge that this race is run under AusCycling's rules. You must be an active AusCycling (UQCC) member to participate in UQCC criteriums.

Gradings

UQCC is pretty flexible with grading riders. Please be honest and open if you are requesting a grade with us, or to change grades. If you're new to racing crits, you may wish to start in a lower grade - even if you are fit enough for a higher one. This gives you a chance to learn the crit routine and safely handle yourself in a bunch. You can always go up in grades later.

To request a grading change, use the reason field in the crit entry form. Grading changes will usually be granted.

Race Entry

UQCC have introduced a small entry fee for criteriums as of 2025.

• All Seniors - $6.00
  
• All Juniors up to U17 & Students - Free

You will not be able to show up and race if you have not registered prior to the event.

Late entries will be considered by exception.

Sign On

Please make sure your license is up to date!

Riders must sign on for the start list as you arrive at the staging area, with a roll taken to confirm any riders not yet ticked off.

Volunteers are needed to carry out the sign-on. Please consider giving some help here. All volunteers will receive free entry to their next crit.

IMPORTANT: You need a current UQCC race number. We will issue you with your own number to 'keep'. We have been doing that at the previous crits. If you didn't grab one then, make sure you grab one from us at the race (or the next race you attend).

If you need a new race number, please arrive with enough time to collect it before your race. We will endeavour to start races on time, so be warmed up and ready to go when you do arrive at the track.

Race numbers should be pinned to your right hand side, not on your back! This makes it possible for commissaires to identify you from trackside.

Those wishing to claim a place should present to the commissaires for confirmation.
