Riders Ingham, Radisic, Edwards, Castle, Weller, Dinneen to claim mylaps entry refund at rego desk. A grade women's race removed due to no entries. B & C Women to race together with seperate podiums. Some Juniors have gone up an age grade due CRITERIUM & TRACK age rules. please check your age grade. Every junior is asked to have accurate gear restrictions to save time on the day. Roll outs will be completed both prior to first race, and, top 4 juniors criterium placers must report immediately for roll out. Failure to do so may result in relegation.

About

Northern Beaches Cycling Club hosts racing at Australia’s Number 1 bespoke cycle circuit, Splendid Park, Yanchep. The 1.4km dedicated criterium circuit is a one of kind and ensures a fast & fun race. Catch the train to Yanchep station and its a warm-up ride to the track. Public transport is still free (at time of writing) on Sundays, with a Smart Rider. The schedule is subject to change. Juniors (U11, 13 & 15 and novice U17 only) will get 3 races for the price of one

(1 lap ITT, a 2 lap handicap race, and a criterium race).

License Requirements

An AusCycling “Race – All Discipline” license is required for riders to be eligible to participate in our races. All the information regarding this license can be found here: https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership/race-all-discipline

Alternatively, for those looking to try racing an AusCycling “All Discipline – 4 Week Trial” is available. However, there are strict conditions around this licensing. Riders can find more information by following this link: https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership/other/free-trial

Junior Restrictions

NBCC supports the development of junior athletes and provides racing opportunities for all ages and abilities, subject to the AusCycling and NBCC published policies for Junior riders, including equipment restrictions: AusCycling Policy - click here NBCC reserves the right to disqualify riders from future events if it is apparent a rider’s gears have been unrestricted during any event.

Race Schedule (Subject to Change- refer to northernbeachescycling.com post-registration close)

At race director or commissaire discretion times may be modified. Dropped riders that may interfere with race finish may be withdrawn from the circuit. As there will be 2 grades on course at one time, give way to the lower grade finishing their last lap with a sprint. You will still have 10 mins to go with the higher grade. We will endeavour to start women's grades seperate to open grades, however, field numbers will determine if a women's grade is integrated. Points will remain seperate.

The organiser, in its sole discretion, may delay, modify, or cancel the event if it believes the conditions on the event day are or will be unsafe following the commencement of the event. If the event is delayed, modified or cancelled for any reason registrants may be entitled to a pro-rata refund of any participant entry fee in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. There will be no payment for any other costs incurred by participants in connection with the event. Further details can be obtained from AusCycling's Refund Policy.
