The 2024 CQ Gravel Eliminator. is co-hosted by Rockhampton MTB and Rockhampton Cycling Club on Sunday 15th September. This event will feature a Elimination Race.

Gravel Eliminator Description

This is a challenge against the clock, how far can you go without being eliminated? Ride alone, with your mate or in a bunch and work together to get back before the time cut-off and go again.

The course

99% Gravel roads. You will require a basic level of experience and confidence in mountain/gravel biking and a good level of fitness and endurance. All 3 courses will be clearly marked with signage & arrows. Each track junction will have a sign with directions on which way to go, depending on which distance you are completing. There will also be course marshals at each significant turn. See maps and course descriptions for more detail.

There are multiple checkpoints along this course. Please make sure that you are aware of the checkpoints applicable to your distance.

Distances and Entry Fees

Eliminator cut-off times You can start lap 2 if you return before 9.30am

You can start lap 3 if you return before 10.10am

You can start lap 4 if you return before 10.30am

All entries $30

IMPORTANT: All Junior (U15 & U17) competitors in the event MUST have a chaperone ride with them at all times. Please highlight chaperone details in the comments section of your entry
