The movement of riders both up and down grades is encouraged. This is necessary to ensure enjoyable, competitive riding with the correct balance between grades. It recognizes that a rider’s performance will usually vary over time depending on training levels and personal circumstances.
If you are choosing to ride in a different grade than your currently allocated grade please include justification when you enter. Based on previous performance riders may be promoted to a higher grade by the committee.
NOTE: For visiting riders you should enter using the same grade as when you race at your club.
