The Trek Rockhampton MTB XCEN 6 Hour Day/Night is back at the popular Seeonee Park and like the XCEN 3 Hour Day/Night and XCO Round 1, there's another variation for this epic event!

Juniors still ride the Junior Loop.

Seniors still ride the Junior Loop with the "Holy Rollers" extension.

But this time everyone rides ANTICLOCKWISE.

Rocky MTB aims to be inclusive with multiple categories for different ages, genders and even e-bikers!

  • Age is defined as at 31 December 2024.
  • AusCycling XCEN Maximum Race Duration Age Restrictions apply and cannot be waived by Rocky MTB.

Entry Fees

  • Senior $40 per rider
  • Junior $20 per rider

Race Schedule

  • Race Plate allocation commences 1230h with the Rider Briefing at 1345h.
  • Start time is 1400h for all categories.
  • Practice is from 1230h to 1330h, only for registered riders issued with a race plate.
  • Cutoff time for the last lap is 1930h.
  • Finish time is 2000h.


  • This event is conducted in accordance with AusCycling Policies and Rules.
  • An AusCycling Race Membership or Event Licence is mandatory.
  • Bar and helmet lights are compulsory for all laps commenced after sunset at 1740h.
  • Most number of laps wins each category.
  • If a rider does not complete a lap for any reason, then the lap will not count.
  • If a rider stops to render assistance at a crash, then they will be given additional time to complete the race after the cutoff and finish times.
  • Riders must comply with any additional rules advised during the Rider Briefing.

Event Cancellation or Changes

  • If the event has to be cancelled due to extreme weather, then a notification will be posted on the Rocky MTB Facebook page.
  • Rocky MTB reserves the right to change any other event parameters.


Camping is available at Seeonee Park at the cost of $7.50 (payable on the day). Cold showers and toilets are available.

Venue Rules

Adhere to posted speed limits driving in and out. Remove all rubbish and be mindful of nearby Scouts with respect to noise, dust, etc.


Sponsor prizes will be offered as a random draw after the race. Category winners will receive a Race Certificate. There are no podium prizes other than the glory of mounting the podium and being immortalised via social media.

Entered & can't make it? An automated refund is available using the EntryBoss Scratch mechanism. Please note the scratch cut-off of 0900h Saturday 20 April 2024. DNS (Did Not Start) refunds after this time are at the discretion of Rocky MTB.
