This race will be using the Northern Combine race numbers - THIS IS MANDATORY.
If you do not have one, please add the additional item to your entry price and collect on the day
Please mount your bike race number and also wear your jersey number.
Location
Format: Criterium racing at National Boulevard, Campbellfield.
Circuit: 1.8km circuit running anticlockwise Google Maps

Coburg is running a four-week Women's Series with separate women's grades from A-D each Saturday 2-23 March 2023. Race times and prizes for every grade to be announced soon.

Prize money will be awarded to:
- 1st place if 3 or more riders
- 1st & 2nd places if 4 or more riders
- 1st, 2nd & 3rd places if 5 or more riders
Open Grades and Junior Riders
- During regular season, Women's A-C grades race with the next lower open grade (e.g. Women's C rides with Open D)
- Junior riders are welcome to enter D grade, unless otherwise assessed and approved by the handicapper.
- As per AusCycling policy, unfortunately Juniors are not eligible for prize money, however non-cash prizes may be available.
- Open E is our learn-to-race grade for any rider who wants to learn criterium/road racing in a safe environment, regardless of gender or age. A racing licence is still required, please check the information about the free trial on the AusCycling Website.
Women's Grades
- Coburg is running a four week Women’s Series with separate women’s races from A-D each Saturday from 2 to 23 March 2024, prizes for every grade to be announced soon.
- For the regular season (3 until 24 February 2024) Women’s A-C grades race with the next lower open grade, e.g. Women’s C rides with Open D.
- For the regular season the prizes for women’s racing are as follows:
- 1-2 women in a grade, a prize will be available to the first unplaced female (if no female places);
- 3 women in a grade, 1st place according to the Prize Money table (i.e. Women’s B winner is $50);
- 4 women in a grade, 1st and 2nd are awarded;
- 5 women in a grade 1st-3rd places are awarded.
Volunteering
*** NEW RULES ***
Without any volunteers, Coburg Crits races would not be able to run.
- Coburg Members are required to sign up for a minimum of 2 volunteer shift to race.
- Anyone who signs up for 3 or more shifts receive free racing for the season.
- Volunteer shifts can also be performed by family members or friends.
- Only the roundabout and forklift crossing is included in this offer.
- Marshalling a race or standing at the rego desk isn’t part of the duties list and will not count towards your free entries.

- Cancellation due to weather forecast will be made on the Friday night before.
- Cancellation due to actual weather can occur anytime.
Race Day Reminders
- Toilet facilities are available at the Al-Sayed Restaurant and Cafe at 103 National Boulevard.
- Registration will be near the Al-Sayed Restaurant and Cafe.
- You must have a valid AusCycling "Race All-Discipline" level of membership or free trial to race CCC crits. These can be purchased from AusCycling
- If driving, please do not park on the inside lane (anti-clockwise) of the course, nor on the outside lane (clockwise) within 25m of the finish .
- Cycling Victoria Red Light policy is enforced so please remember to bring a rear light.
