GMBC is hosting a pre-season race clinic on Sunday 14 January 2024 - one week before the start of the Summer No Frills MTB Cross Country Series.
Never raced before and want to know how No Frills racing works before signing up?
Want to hone your skills and tackle some of the more technical features before race day?
Want to learn more about race-craft, tactics and preparation?
Have some burning questions about bike set-up, technique or how to go faster?
Just want to ride the set course for the season opener, meet some GMBC members and have a chat?
Then this day is for you.
We will have some of GMBC's experienced club racers on hand to answer your questions, share their secrets (we have been assured they won't hold back!) and to host a ride of the set course for the first race of the No Frills Summer Series.
We'll tailor the format of the day depending on people's interests, but it will include a no-drop lap or two of the 4.81km course for the 19 January No Frills race:
