Northern Beaches Cycling Club hosts racing at Australia’s best bespoke criterium circuit, Splendid Park, Yanchep.

SPLENDID PARK POINTS RACING Riders aim to gain points, with the highest score winning the event. Points can be scored at randomised Intermediate sprints (indicated by whistle). Bonus points for lapping the field and last lap finish. Depending on field sizes, the intention is to stagger Open vs Women field start times. However provisional start times are combined for now. Points will be counted separately for Open and Women's fields, even if they are required to start as one peloton. Accumulated points over the length of the race determine the overall podium (rather than last lap result).

Juniors will get 3 races for the price of one (1 lap ITT, a 2 lap handicap race, and a handicapped criterium race).

Volunteer/family discounts apply. if you or your support crew can volunteer 2-3 hours (indicate time) either helping to marshal a road crossing, registration desk support or Commissaire support. You can withdraw your entry with a self-serve automated refund via EntryBoss if you are within the scratching cut-off time. Please return to the EntryBoss event listing (whilst logged in) and use the 'Scratch' button.

Junior Restrictions

NBCC supports the development of junior athletes and provides racing opportunities for all ages and abilities, subject to the AusCycling and NBCC published policies for Junior riders, including equipment restrictions:

License Requirements

An AusCycling “Race – All Discipline” license is required for riders to be eligible to participate in our races. At race director or commissaire discretion times may be modified. Dropped riders that may interfere with race finish may be withdrawn from the circuit. IF your race finishes before another. field, stay left and exit at the 2nd entrance (near tennis courts)

The organiser, in its sole discretion, may delay, modify, or cancel the event if it believes the conditions on the event day are or will be unsafe following the commencement of the event. If the event is delayed, modified or cancelled for any reason registrants may be entitled to a pro-rata refund of any participant entry fee in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
