About

2018-19 Zero Friction Cycling Summer Time Trials For the 11th year running, PACC will host its series of time trials at Outer Harbor this summer, with the assistance of sponsor Zero Fiction Cycling.

Time Trials – the race of truth for those who push themselves to the limit, but also a great way for new riders to get to know racing in a friendly environment, where you don’t have to worry about being part of a bunch.

Series Dates

Races will be held on:

  • 2 December
  • 6 January << you are entering this one
  • 10 February
  • 17 March

Race Details

All time trials are held on Sunday mornings from 7:30 am from LeFevre Recreation Centre on Victoria Road, Outer Harbor. All riders will have signed on by 7:15 am in time for rider briefing. Course map is available here: http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/PACC-Time-Trial-Course

Riders will be seeded and start times will be posted the evening prior to the event. There will be no on the day entries. Seeding will be based on previous events - if you have not done a TT before, place an estimated speed in the comments field when entering.

Zero Friction will be providing a random draw prize each round – riders will need to be at rider briefing to claim their prize. Season prizes will also be available in both men’s and women’s categories.

Junior Riders

A modified course will be available for Junior Riders based on Cycling Australia's Junior Policy. Assistance will be required from parents / carers to allow this to occur. Please email paula.hollamby@pacc.org.au prior to registering for further information.

U11 - 4km (from start line to the roundabout and back)

U13 - 8km | U15 - 10km (short modified course with a different start point - please arrive early)

U17 - may ride the full distance provided the requirements of Cycling South Australia's Junior Riding Up Policy are met - again, we must be made aware of this PRIOR to race day so email paula.hollamby@pacc.org.au prior to registering. U17 riders who have not contacted us prior to registration will be required to race the shorter course.
