Geelong MTB Club and Forrest MTB Club are combining forces to bring you a great double header weekend of racing.
The event includes a Saturday afternoon Senior XCC race to fire up the legs followed by the main Sunday morning Dirt Squirts and Seniors XCO races.
The vision for this double header race weekend is to vary up our racing locations and promote some other areas for GMBC members to ride bikes.
The sun will set on Saturday afternoon with a sausage sizzle, bonfire (BBQ marshmallows) and time to relax with fellow cycling mates, enjoy the social scene, and most importantly discuss strategies for the upcoming XCO.
Make it a full racing weekend down in the fantastic Otway Ranges, by staying overnight in cozy local accommodation, checking out the local eateries and leisurely exploring all the newly built Forrest MTB trails and pump track.
This is heaven for all mountain bikers and cannot be missed!
PS: If you have a GMBC jersey, do your club proud and wear it on the day.

No Frills Mountain Bike Racing is for 13yo and older Male and Female Riders. The focus is on fun and gaining skills through a typical club racing format. These races involve mountain bikes only with e-bikes welcome.
Please note: If you do decide to race with an e-bike please let us know either via comments upon entry or on race day, as although e-bikes are welcome to race in our events, we do not have enough entrants to create a separate category at this stage. E-bike competitors are not eligible to place or collect prizes (chocolates).
Adaptive Riders are welcome to race in all our events. Although we do not have enough entrants to create a separate category at this stage, adaptive riders are eligible to compete in whatever grade they feel suit their ability level. We are always considerate of the needs of the adaptive rider and will do our best to run courses that also cater for their needs as well as the rest of our members. As an adaptive rider if you can let us know in advance then we can also alter our courses even more to cater for your needs
Please ensure you have cleaned your bike so as not to bring pathogens to the Otways Forest
