Race Info

Transponders: we'll be using the new ones!

We'll be using the new timing system and transponders at AHCC from now on.
If you already have one of the new transponders (the ones that go on the seat post and used in the Super Series and Crits), just add the number when you enter this race (there's a space for it on the entry form - it will also update your EBoss profile with the number).
If you don't have one, no worries, we'll lend you one for the day for free. We'll also soon have some available for you to own - just sorting a few things out on that but will make an announcement when it's good to go.

  • Location: Balhannah Scout Hall, Pye Road, Balhannah
  • Course Map: with location details plus Strava profile HERE
  • Racing starts at: 9am
  • Rego desk opens at: 8am
  • Race format: Graded scratch racing
  • Charity race: This is our end-of-year charity race, with all of the $15 entry fee being donated to a local community service organisation.
  • Entry: Members of all AusCycling clubs are welcome! All you need to race with us is an AusCycling racing licence (All Disciplines or Trial Licence).
  • Junior riders:
U19 riders: all good to race with us in any grade.
U17 riders can also race with us but you need approval from AusCycling first.
All U19 and U17 riders must comply with AusCycling gearing restriction and it is your responsibility to ensure this is done. Check the technical regulations HERE

  • Free Trial ride: Coming for a free trial ride?
Free trial rides are for those new to AusCycling racing, don't have a full licence as yet, are interested in joining AHCC, and want to have a try before getting a full AusCycling licence and joining the club.
To arrange your free trial ride:
    (i) Go to the AusCycling web site to set up your 4-week free trial licence HERE: Select SA as your State, and Adelaide Hills Cycling Club as your nominated club.
(ii) Then nominate for this event and choose the trial ride option when entering.
We will then be back in touch with some more information for you about the event.
If you already have a full AusCycling licence but just haven't raced at AHCC before, the free trial ride doesn't apply so just enter this race as a normal entrant.

  • Grades and Distances:
    A-Grade: 7 laps = 62.4ks
    B-Grade: 7 laps = 62.4ks
    C-Grade: 6 laps = 53.5ks
