About

The Goldfields Cyclassic is a two-day, two-stage handicap race across the Goldfields from Kalgoorlie-Boulder to Menzies and on to Leonora.

The Cyclassic offers a complete weekend package experience. After boarding the plane on Saturday morning, all you need to do is focus on racing your bike - everything else will be taken care of!

2022 GOLDFIELDS CYCLASSIC - RACE

Entry categories: A-D grade

Note: This event will be handicapped, so please provide recent race results to assist with this process.

Entry Fees:

Early Bird Entry Fee: $150.00

Standard Entry Fee: $175.00

Flight (optional): $300.00 seats are limited to one per entry (until sold out).

Jersey Fee: $95.00*

Early Bird Entries: 18 March to 11:59PM (AWST) 24 April 2022

Entries Close: 11:59pm AWST Tuesday 31 May 2022

All entries include event participation, ground support and dinner at the Awards Ceremony in Menzies Town Hall on 4 June 2022.

* Jerseys can be ordered up until 10 April 2022 for delivery on 4 June 2022. Orders can be placed subsequent to that date with delivery after the event.

Additional Options

• Charter flight to/from the event: $300.00 per seat for all entries, until sold out (one seat per entry only). Check the Cyclassic website for flight details. The flight duration is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes and is the most convenient way to experience the event if travelling from Perth. If there are seats available after 29 May 2022 they will be made available for non-riders until sold out.

• Tickets for the Awards Presentation: dinner in Menzies are available to accompanying guests (riders receive one (1) complimentary ticket to the dinner with their entry). The cost is $25.00 for each additional guest. Dinner tickets, including guest tickets will be placed in riders' registration bags. Tickets must be shown on entry to the Menzies Classic Awards dinner.

• NEW for 2022 – Menzies Bivouac Option: In 2022 we are offering limited camping packages on Saturday night in Menzies where we will provide and assemble your tent and mattress ready for your arrival. Showers, Toilets, Security and a charging station area are all included. Just bring a pillow, sleeping bag, toiletries and your Sunday race gear. Singles $100.00, Doubles $175.00

• Bike and Camping Gear Transport: Perth to Kalgoorlie and return – option available at no charge. Please note, bikes and camping gear cannot be carried on the charter flight.

Included in every entry

• Bus from Kalgoorlie airport to registration, and from The Central Hotel in Leonora to the airport
• Bus transport to Morapoi on Saturday night after the Awards dinner and fireworks display and return to Menzies on Sunday morning
• Storage of bikes on Saturday night in the Allied truck
• Complimentary water, soft drinks, muffins, fruit after each stage
• Complimentary drinks and nibbles at The Central Hotel in Leonora prior to the Awards presentations
• Bike Mechanic at registration and in Menzies on Sunday morning

Jersey

Event Jerseys can be purchased up until the 10 of April 2022 for arrival on 4 June 2022. Jerseys can still be ordered but delivery will be after the event.

Refunds

Scratching: You can withdraw your entry with a self-serve, automated refund via EntryBoss prior to the scratching cut-off date of 22 May 2022, 5pm AWST. Please return to the EntryBoss Race Listing and use the 'Scratch' button. After this scratching cut-off date, any refunds due to withdrawal are at the discretion of the event organiser.
