We hope you all had a blast at the first two rounds in Collie with Ferguson Valley MTB club taking the reins. Thanks everyone who supported the club and Damon, it’s great to have more clubs participating in running the series this year.
Now for PMBC first race of the year we present round three of the XCO state series at Jarrahdale. Jarrahdale is always fun, fast and great for riders of all skill levels. This time of year will see the pea gravel nicely wet down making for some great riding.
Full Sprockets has returned this year and it’s great to see our junior development program back in full swing. Thanks as Always to Mark & Jenn Wardle from RnR for running the program.
This year due to the ongoing issue with EntryBoss being unable to confirm race licenses everyone will be required to present to registration and verify your license. It’s a two second job just have a screen shot or Rego confirmation in your digital wallet or printed and we will tick you off. Auscycling are working on this issue and hopefully they will have it sorted in the not too distant future.
Race plates $5 - New or replacement - paid at the registration tent Regular race entry price $40 - until one week before registration close off (generally Friday night) Late entry price $50 - In the last week before race entry closes on the Friday prior to the race day
We want to encourage you all to enter early this year folks, this makes our planning and logistics much easier. You can scratch up until the close of regular race entry prices if you are unwell or are injured.
If you do have an issue in the last week once scratching is closed then please speak with us, we are accommodating in most circumstances.
So PLEASE enter early so we can make the race preparation job a lot easier. Thanks in advance
Entered and can't make it? Use the Scratch button in EntryBoss for an automated refund. There is a cut-off for scratching date/time so please keep an eye on this if you are a risk of not being able to race. Also, once you scratch, you will need the help of an admin if you need to re-enter (and you are back in the queue like everyone else if entries are pumping).
Langford Park, Nettleton Road, Jarrahdale
Course will be marked on Saturday afternoon prior to race Sunday. You are very welcome to ride the course on your own watch once it is marked out. Better still come along and help, it’s always a great way to preview the ride.
Park in the marked bays in the main car park. Once the car park is full please park on the road shoulder facing out of the park. This is always good in case we need to evacuate at any time for any reason.
If you are picking up a new or replacement plate please have a $5 note ready to go, we are hoping to have an eftpos setup but handing over a fiver is much quicker :).
Registration tent for those without a number plate will be from 8am. If you have a plate already you are good to go but don’t forget to show your race license. If you have forgotten your plate on the day come and see the folks at the Rego tent.
Looking forward to a great day of XCO racing, see you there.
