The NVCC Coastal MTB Series is a 3 race series.

Race 1 is on Sunday 10 December 2023.
Race 2 is a twilight event being held on Saturday 13 January 2024.
Race 3 will be held on Sunday 18 February 2024.

All profits from this race series will be donated to Ian Porteous and his family

This will be a Cross Country Endurance (XCEN) event with 2 hours of dedicated racing held over an approximately 7km course for both Solo and Team riders.

No rider or team will record a DNF as long as one full lap has been completed.

The actual race course may be different for each event in the series.

Race Fees

Online Entries

$20.00 per solo rider 19 years old and over.

$10.00 for all under 19 solo riders.

$10.00 for each team rider.

Junior discount (discount automatically applied based on the age in your EntryBoss Profile. Ages as at 31-Dec-2023)

Race Day Entries - no guarantees

Race day registrations may be accepted at the clubs discretion at an extra cost of $5.00 per rider. Race day registrations will close at 08:30 am.

EFTPOS with “contact free payment” is available and is our preferred payment method.

"Scratch" Function

Have you already entered the event, but then for some reason you are unable to attend on race day? No problem, just use the SCRATCH function to withdraw from the event and receive a refund.

Race Licencing

All participants must hold, or obtain an AusCycling "Race Off-Road" or "Race All Discipline" membership, or obtain an Event Day Licence, or a 4 week free trial membership. Note that Event Day Licences are now $44 for both adult and juniors. We strongly advise you get the free trial option if eligible. Or you may find it better value to simply sign up for a full membership.

Event Day Licences can be purchased during the EntryBoss registration process, or from the AusCycling website.

Cancellations

Wet weather. If it’s clearly going to be too wet we will make the call by 9pm on Friday 08 December 2023, if unclear then we will call it by 2pm on Saturday 09 December 2023. A full refund will be offered for those unable to attend the re-scheduled event.
