2023 SW BMX BASH

About

• The 2023 SW BMX BASH is open to all licenced riders that hold current BMX Australia Open, 4 Month, Sprocket & Mini Wheeler memberships & AusCycling Off-Road or All Discipline licences.
  
• As per AusCycling Technical Regulations: BMX (2.03.08) – Interlocking pedal-cleat systems are allowed for all riders age 13 and older. For avoidance of doubt, riders aged 12 and under must use flat pedals with no interlocking pedal-cleat system.
  
• There are NO DOGS ALLOWED
  
• NO SMOKING AND NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED AT ALL BMX RACE MEETS.
  
• 4 Riders constitute a category.
  
• 4 motos, no finals
  
• Riders can only nominate for one division.

Notes:
* Entrants can enter one category only. * 16-34 not using the Bunbury Pro Straight.
* If there aren’t enough male and female riders to race separately in the open classes, they will merge.

Awards

1. Awards

• 1st, 2nd, 3rd places will be based on total points from all races. This will be for All age class riders.
  
• Riders can race any of the three events individually but will only be eligible for an award if they race all 3.
  
• Cowaramup Riders will need transponders for Collie and Bunbury. No transponder will result in a DNF.
  
• Racing in Cowaramup will not be using transponders and timing as it is not installed at that track.
  
• All Sprockets and mini wheelers will receive a participation award if they complete all 3 races.
