About:

RATS Cycling Club presents Chicks in the Sticks – a three-hour cross country mountain bike event.

Chicks in the Sticks is a women’s only race suitable for both beginner and experienced riders - junior and senior. With a range of categories to choose from, to suit your riding experience and ability, there is something for everyone. 2022 will feature two loops - green and blue - rejoining to ride together through event village and over the timing mats.

T-Shirts:
EARLY BIRD ENTRIES CLOSED. The Chicks in the Sticks 2022 T-shirts have been ordered for early bird entries. We will have a small number of shirts available to purchase on the day for $20/$25. Sizing for the T-shirts can be found here - http://www.ratscc.com.au/chicks-in-the-sticks/registration/

Licence: AusCycling membership WILL BE required, and must be shown on the day or purchased on the day if you enter here without it. A four-week free trial can be accessed at: https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership/other/free-trial ; alternatively, to cover you for more races, access a 12-month 'race off-road' or 'race all discipline' membership at https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership ; or on the day pay extra for licence coverage ($8.80 adults; $5.50 children) (EFTPOS available; please allow extra rego time if choosing this option)

Camping:
Camping is available at Karingal Scout Camp for two nights (Friday and Saturday) for $20 a night per site. Spots will be available at race base, with four portaloos, or dotted around the camp grounds nearer to other amenity blocks with toilets and showers.
